Dawson has three prior arrests for driving while intoxicated, according to court documents, including a 2014 arrest where investigators said he did donuts on the front lawn of the Baton Rouge Fire Department. Court records showed he was due back for proceedings over a charge of third offense DWI in February, after pleading guilty to charges of second offense DWI in June 2015.

Dawson received a sentence of six months in jail, which was suspended to 48 hours and he received credit for time already served. He was also ordered to attend AA and only drive cars which had ignition interlock devices installed.

48 hours for a 2nd offense DWI, looks like the Judicial System in Louisiana is trying to get people killed. But yet, you can get a 7 day lockup for a traffic ticket.

^^

One of my Facebook friends from high school, Always was a good guy highly thought of, posted an RIP shoutout to Dillon for his status couple days ago.

I never met the guy he obviously struggled with alcohol and perhaps other problems who knows what kinda cards he was dealt but there were many who cared for him it's sad to see someone my age go out like that.

Not a good week and a half for Triad.

1st George Reusch, Jr. was murdered now Dawson falls to his death.

Both worked as electricians for the same company.

He wasn't a bad guy. As stated before he did struggle with "life". I know much of his story. It seems that perhaps he was a bit manic. Never met him but know many of those who loved him who are themselves the finest kind of people. It's all just a very very tragic situation. Knowing some of the details of what the eyewitness described I don't believe he was running from the accident scene when he fell.
