The father of lies (satan) rages. He knows his time is coming to an end, so he lashes out at the altars created by the Followers of the Cross.

God affirms and celebrates - satan accuses and taunts.

Let us know when one of your churches opens anywhere in the State of Louisiana.

We had one here but it went defunct due to lack of participation.

I know it's official teaching that it is good to call upon the saints for their intercession

So you're problem with Catholicism is Catholics believe saints can intercede on their behalf with God?

That is one problem I have.

My main problem is that Catholicism teaches a gospel that doesn’t save.

Praying is an act of worship. Can’t get around that.

Have you read any Shakespeare? The phrase "I pray you" is another way to say "I ask of you". When you ask somebody for something, that's not worship.

If I say, "I'll pray for you" that doesn't mean "I'm going to worship you."

You are SO full of crap around here. You'd be ridiculous if you weren't so bigoted.

Prayer in the Bible and in every religious context is an act of worship. Trying to appeal to Shakespeare isn’t going to change that.

If you think it is nothing more than asking, would you say that you pray to the waitress for a refill of your drink at a restaurant? Would you pray to your living friend for some money? Would you pray to your boss for some time off?

No? Probably not, because we don’t use the word “prayer” like that in everyday life. It’s only used like that by those trying to say idolatry isn’t really idolatry because the RCC is infallible, because she says she is.

Whatever happened to those calls for peace and gentleness that you say at the beginning of these discussions?

There are few things that I think would be an automatic trip downstairs after death, desecrating churches and the like are at the top of the list.

They teach that the Roman Catholic church is the only true Church, and to be outside of her is to be outside of Christ (salvation). She has dogmas that people are required to believe, which Protestants don't believe, like Papal infallibility and the teachings about Mary.

Again, Rome has spoken and Protestants must repent and join the true Church (as they see it) or to be outside of salvation.

Look, I'm not going to try and describe your faith, dont do that for Catholics. At least show that respect.

You get papal infalibity wrong...again, with this inference that it is some big deal. You miss the purpose and the application and act like this is some big wrong of the church.

In the 2000 years of the church PI has been used a handful of times. It is not some ongoing belief that everything the pope says "infallible" or that the pope is without sin or that he has some special knowledge. It's none of those things.

The catholic church traces all the way back though. It was not splintered by a founder like every other denomination. Not saying any are less than the other but something has to be said for that. It's the descedant of the church of the apostles.

. The guy who pissed on the altar should have his d*** cut off.
