Easy to say now but I think most of us would panic if our door was kicked in. Also think about being tazed. Would anyone here NOT try and stop someone from tazing you? Sounds like the guy panicked- from the facts at hand.

some do, obviously. Just like some doctors, lawyers, teachers, governers, truck drivers, ballplayers, and pretty much every profession in history has people that do bad things too. It's just that in today's world, when cops frick up it makes the news so people can lash out against them.
Many cops abuse their power and are complete frickups that have no business doing what they do, and should honestly be in jail. Far, far, FAR more just go about their business everyday and nobody ever hears about them.

Lemme guess. The bodycam just happened to be off?

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in court. Busting into someone's house without consent, an exigent circumstance, a warrant, or probable cause is a big no no.

Bet he won't be denying any more searches will he?

I think a lot of people would agree with that statement. So, it makes me wonder: why aren't the BLM type protests taking place at police stations? Why aren't they cornering police cars on the street? Why are they going into the Dartmouth library to start things?

You ar correct. But no matter how wrong the cops were and even if they are convicted of wrongdoing the guy is dead. So he loses.
Better to not be an idiot and live another day.

I don't disagree with this and I would be willing to bet it is factually correct.
I think the issue that most have with cops, unlike those other professions you mentioned, is that cops turn a very blind eye to what other cops do.
This applies to even the good cops.
I think more and more people, even those who don't or haven't had interactions with the police, are seeing this. For some, it comes as a surprise, given our previous opinions about law enforcement.

Clearly no meth involved in this story.

There are far more good cops than bad cops, but the good ones need to realize weeding the bad will help their cause. Defending cops who kill unarmed people is going to hurt their cause. It's systematic though.

So the witnesses admitted he was not only going for the cop's taser, but had hold of it. 100% justified shooting

Similar to how they told black men in the50's not to be looking at the white women? While what you say may be true, it doesn't make it right and the more you repeat it the more we start to rationalize it.

Problem with cops is that I think:
5% are corrupt/criminal
20% are bad at their job for one reason or another
25% are decent enough but would actively cover up for the first two categories
25% are decent enough but would fail to do shite about the first two categories
25% would actively seek to curb bad cop behavior

What did he do that made the cops taze him?

Are you fricking retarded. If a cop is beating you for no reason you're not supposed to defend yourself?
Posted on 11/16/15 at 1:33 pm to Pettifogger
Could you put that into graph format? I need to show a guy on FB who I am arguing with these stats.
