Exactly. The same people condemning Marksville (rightfully) will nevertheless bend over backwards to justify this somehow.

So maybe he had some smoke or whatever.
Assuming the guy they were looking for isn't there, if he lets them in and they find his stash, he's guilty.

Not sure how it escalated into his death, but after no access wasn't granted, the cops are supposed to leave. (OT lawyers, correct me if I'm wrong)

As a white male, middle-aged Republican, anyone that thinks cops don't abuse their powers, especially when minorities or poor people are involved, are naïve.
