I stopped on a non busy road once to pick up this large snapping turtle. People in this area make sport of driving over turtles. I’m a respecter of age and I knew it was pretty old. Besides their mouth you know what else a snapping turtle has? Yeah, claws. Forgot that part. He made it to the other side only because I couldn’t turn the truck around fast enough.
