BATON ROUGE - Two people were arrested after a man was robbed at gunpoint in the parking garage at a Baton Rouge casino.
According to arrest records, the victim befriended a woman on the casino floor while gambling at the L'Auberge Casino on Thursday, July 5.
The victim bought the two something to eat at the bar and the woman, later identified as 28-year-old Jessica Simoneaux, asked him for $20.
The victim refused to give her the $20, and Simoneaux then offered to bring him home since he didn't have a car.
While walking in the stairwell of the parking garage, the victim said a man, later identified as 32-year-old Justin Millett, approached him from behind and pointed a gun to the back of his head. Millett then told the victim "give me your wallet," and grabbed the victim's wallet from his back pocket. The wallet contained approximately $450.

Looks like his barber went rogue. #1 on top, #2 on the sides.

They don't have security cameras in a casino. They'll never catch us!

I bet heroin is involved somehow.

Robbing someone at a casino is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Casino security can most likely identify every pimple on this woman's forehead.

TLDR
NYE we were at the BR La Berg and it was packed.
I walked by an ATM in the back by the EDGE club and saw $100 bill sticking out. I grabbed it instinctively and kept walking to where my GF was at a slot machine. I told her and our friends and they were all like "YAYYY drinks on you at the show later."
I said "Not so fast. If the person this belongs to goes to security, they'll find me in this crowd within an hour."
Not 20 minutes later, I was standing right outside 18 Steak waiting to go upstairs for the show when a dude in a suit and fancy ear-piece thingy approached me.
Turned out good all around as the Casino Security guy was impressed I kept the money and stuck around to be found if the guy went back looking for it.
I didn't get anything free out of it except a bro-hug and hand shake from the security guy and good Karma for doing the right thing.
And to brag to our friends that I knew they'd find me within an hour.
TLDR Security Cameras/Teams in Casinos are among the best.

Except Mandalay Bay. I can only assume they never got the shooter on camera.

I watched a Walmart security guy on "Live PD" this weekend bust a shoplifter. Wallyworld in El Paso has some great cameras too.
