Dad should have done a better job getting rid of the corpse. Without a body there is no murder.

Father should be honored as a hero instead of being put in jail. Never test a father when it comes to his children.

Well I actually think of the victims in cases like this.

The victim here is the girl sold into trafficking, you dumbass. The one who sold her and got killed for it is a perpetrator and had in coming. This country needs TRUE justice, not your kind of BS. Any jury of decent people will set the man free and reunite him with the daughter, if she survived.

Your "victim" is scum.

The dad was absolutely in the right, but I have to wonder why he left the body in the trunk of an abandoned car. There’s a lot of woods up that way that would have been a safer option for the body never being found. It’s kinda strange someone drove the abandoned car back to town and abandoned it again. Did he want to get caught?

A true bayou baw makes sure the body is never found (unless there’s only one chance, say in an airport, to make a clean shot to rid the world of evil).

Maybe there needs to be a body.

Maybe it’s a statement, to all the lowlife scumbags preying on our children.
Yes…we know evil lurks in the dark places, in the alleys and the cracks. A man can’t do much to purge evil in a world rife with it.

But what a man CAN do, is take a stand.

A man is a hammer. And if we can nail one scumbag, and put up one fence board before these feckless, faithless agents of degeneracy take us down…

It’s a start.
And if one father nails one scumbag up, maybe it will give people the courage to strike back. Maybe next to that scumbag, other hammers will nail other scumbags up alongside that one. One more victim saved, one more board in the wall.

And one by one, the hammers become more numerous, and less afraid.

And one by one, more scumbags get nailed up on that fence, going up board by board.

All of a sudden there are less scumbags to nail because there are more hammers swinging, and they know it.

They see that wall. And they know there are men who are willing to do what it takes to let children play and grow in peace.

We might never be able to remove the rot…but we can build a fence, starting with one board.

My heart would love for him to get no prison time as I previously said but my mind says he’s going to prison and should be in prison.

Why?

The system is broken. Garbage gets out only to do the same to other victims.

What good is a system that punishes those who do the job they are too sackless to do?

I just hope the arresting detectives made a major (ahem) "mistake" with some of the evidence or some other crucial step so the charges get dropped. And there is nothing the DA can do.

Anyone who convicts this man can go to hell.

There is no real justice through the court system these days- whether we want to admit it or not. Vicious killers get free food, medical care, etc for the rest of their lives on the peoples' dime. JAIL DOESN'T IMPRESS THEM; many of them know they'll be free to walk the streets again, soon enough.

I'm not calling for more cases of "vigilante justice"- but I can understand how someone who KNOWS the person who hurt or killed their loved one will end up paying a small price for their wicked acts can be driven to do this.

FIX THE DAMN SYSTEM SO IT WORKS MORE FOR THE VICTIMS INSTEAD OF THE CRIMINALS. IT IS FAILING US.
