The problem is blank slatism. People refuse to believe some people are predisposed to certain antisocial behaviors like violence.
They believe he was somehow "injured" as a youth and his propensity for violence was "forced" on him from this injury. If only he didnt have that bad experience then he would be totally normal.

Kudos to the black girl seemingly objecting to the police detaining the white guy.

But the guy you’re co-signing here is basically saying they need to be removed from society, but not in jail, and is essentially calling for them to be killed.
Is that your belief as well?

I don't know if he even realized it, but consistently stepping back and creating space really helped him out well. Skateboard has more length than a knife.

What would be your solution? Keep in mind the overall recidivism rate of violent crime is close to 65%, when looking at black offenders that number goes up to 75%. What would you do with them?

Luckily he had a skateboard that he could use as a weapon against a guy with a knife. I don’t know what the argument was originally about, but I am sure that it wasn’t worth a chance of getting stabbed by some crackhead in a dirty New York subway. We don’t need people risking their life to deal with scum, we need the judicial system and police to do their jobs so we don’t have to deal with them at all.

If you have 3 or more violent criminal acts, I want you to justify the purpose of keeping someone like that around.
Our current system of “release to repeat”, especially in the case of violent crime, is serving no purpose.

And while I’d like to address a lot of different things in regards to that, I also can’t and won’t argue your stance on it.
Just glad to see you aren’t advocating for a 1 strike execution policy. That’s a road I don’t want to go down, especially when it’s in the hands of the state that we all love and trust so much
