Kinda hard to make out. It's like his arse got caught in it and it was just ripping up his backside and he succumbed to heavy blood loss? The left side of the escalator gets darker as the video rolls on.

I remember a video some years back with guy carrying a board and it getting jammed and the escalator basically swallowed him whole.

Had to watch and skip forward to see....how is this possible? I see him going down escalator and think....there's no way.
I still wouldn't have believed it. It's amazing how people can be feet away from somebody who is in trouble and not do shite. I mean, I kinda understand not wanting to hit the stop button in case that somehow makes the situation worse.
But frick...start screaming for some cops, fire dept. somebody if you don't want to try and pull him out or stop the escalator for liability reasons.

I guess I lucked out.
When I was a kid the toe on my Van's shoe got stuck in the tread at the bottom of the escalator.

Next time you go on an escalator, kick the side on the bottom close to to the landing at the top. There are numerous pressure switch that detect if anything out of the norm happens it will shut it down.

Yeah, people don't realize that they can be dangerous. A young kid in Lafayette was riding one and rubbing his tennis shoe on the bottom rail on purpose. did it so hard the rubber got soft and oozed out into the gap, and he couldn't get out and lost several toes.
