For those posters too young to remember Harry Lee. The no-nonsense Sheriff of Jefferson Parish. His two greatest quotes:

Protestor: “You are a Racist!!!”

Harry Lee: “I’m a 400 pound Chinese man. How can I be racist?”

And to the point of this thread…

A reporter posed a question asking why Harry Lee only put his crime cameras in poor black areas. Obviously building up to a Racist!!!! claim.

Harry Lee: “We put the cameras where the crime is. In this case that is the poor black areas. Not my fault.”

Local numbers tell a similar story. Analysis by Together Baton Rouge found that BRPD drug enforcement disproportionately impacts poor, Black neighborhoods in Baton Rouge, with African American residents and low-income areas bearing the brunt of arrests.
And that's because drugs and crime come disproportionately from 13% of the fricking population in this country.

Lol at this whiny arse article complaining about these black on black shootings getting only a blip on the nightly news, but when it's a white child killed it's a bigger deal.

We value our children's lives. We won't put up with this shite in our neighborhoods and our streets. Blacks clearly dont value life. They refuse to talk to cops and then want to complain when nothing is done to fix the problem. They refuse to help be the solution. It's starts at home. We're not going to waste time mourning blacks killing other blacks when it happens every fricking day and night in this country for completely senseless reasons. That's a black problem, not everyone else's. Get your shite right.

We're all sick and fricking tired of them blaming their shortcomings on racism. Today, racism from whites towards blacks simply means being truthful and honest about their bullshite. In the past with the hate, Klan, Jim Crow, slavery, that was an entirely different animal.

Today, the black communities problems are of their own doing. We're all sick and fricking tired of the violence, the crime, the drain on society, the excuses, and the bullshite. It's the same fricking story everywhere. It's not just a Baton Rouge problem y'all. The same dumb shite happens in Louisville.

The article is absolutely maddening.. but I think I've figured out the disconnect.

What they are ineptly asking for is a free pass on laws they don't like (drugs, driving related offenses, theft, gang shite, etc) while absolutely failing to connect the dots between those offenses and the more murder-y kind.

They really just don't get it.

1. I’m tired of people claiming our schools are underfunded. They are not. They are highly mismanaged. Administrative positions have increased while teacher positions have decreased. Admin pay has risen 17% in EBR while teacher pay has risen 5%. If the schools are so underfunded, how is this possible? A third of my property tax bill goes to EBRPSS.

America spends the 4th most per public school sturbdt in the world - are we #4 in education no

3 reasons

1. Parents / families that don’t prioritize education
2. Teachers union
3. Federal department of education

All pandering and fear mongering to keep blacks on the Democrat plantation. They have been brainwashed since birth.

I’d actually agree if it includes mandatory sterilization

I really don’t like the route of giving the government the ability to force individuals to undergo sterilization.

I don’t disagree with the principle, I just completely and entirely distrust the government.

Also typically easier to solve a crime when they do it in a public area like the mall in the middle of the day with plenty of witnesses and cameras…but sure it was because the victim was white

To give a person the best chance at becoming a productive member of society, both parents are needed to be involved in a child's life. That's not happening, and there certainly isn't any 'raising' taking place either. It's a vicious cycle that only gets worse with time.

Exactly, people think the solution is just to be a better parent. Well these kids are born to teenage mothers and absent dads, so they had no healthy support system and thus have no idea what good parenting looks like. Then they knock up someone and the cycle goes on and on

And when your own experiences with law enforcement are shaped by aggressive stops, searches and excessive force

Remember when the increased use of police body cams was meant to stop this, and all did is prove blacks lie their arse off 99% of the time they are ever stopped.

north Baton Rouge, where most residents are Black and many live below the poverty line, gunfire is a regular feature of life. People can point to corners where multiple homicides have happened. Yet many of those shootings pass with a short item on the nightly news, if they make the news at all. Within a day, law enforcement had five suspects in custody. Many families in north Baton Rouge have been waiting years for that kind of movement in their own cases.

The cognitive dissonance here is deafening.

If the police go in those areas and are in a position where they have to shoot someone who has a gun or was involved in criminal activity, if its a white cop then it become a race thing and lawyers will flock to the family to convince them to sue.

No matter what happens there will be complains. "They are doing too much" "They are not doing enough". This was a situation where two innocent teenagers in their senior year of high school was killed because those stupid fricks have never been taught right from wrong.

If they don't like how things are done then pull together and do something to stop the youth from getting caught up in gangs. Stop waiting for someone to do everything you want and how you want it.
