The reason I asked this question is because my mother and daughter were near there. They went to Ross, someone came over the loud speaker in the store and asked everyone to leave because they were closing the store because they had an active shooter in the area. My thoughts are they should have locked them in the store and not asked them to leave.

"Some activist a-hole just drove into the glass exit doors of Target in Hammond, almost killing my wife who was walking in the entrance. He made it almost all the way to the self checkout lanes almost hitting a lady and her three children among others checking out. He then jumped out of car and proclaimed to have a bomb, threatening customers before running to the back of the store to exit. My wife was told that Hammond police had him in custody, but not 100% sure.
If this is how people believe they are going to gain support for their cause, they are dead wrong."
