This is what happens when you fix your regressive income tax system. Louisiana politicians are too stupid to see that this has a direct impact on attracting business to fix the issue.
The significant improvement in public schools in MS has also helped.

Someone is reaching.
I harbor no ill-will towards EV's.
I said the investment was interesting, not necessarily a bad one.
And yes, some auto manufacturers are reducing their outlook on EV's. There is a non-insignificant amount of EV buyers that are going back to ICE.

I don’t have a problem with EVs existing or being sold. But they aren’t a one size fits all solution to replace ICEs, which is what they have been pushed as.
For one thing, high heat areas like Louisiana will have batteries die sooner while freezing arse areas will have batteries that won’t charge due to the weather like we have seen up north in the past month.

We'll see if this actually happens. Any company can announce a project, i.e. Tellurian, hell I could announce I'm building a $10 bil project, now it's 1 million % different to actually raise $10 bil and make FID.
Gotta see the money raised and the leasing agreements for the data center data from Amazon to believe it.

Don’t forget they are also getting the massive travel ball complex. That’s advanced planning for the new Braxtons to be born after the influx of high wage earners.

Hopefully Landry and the GOP follow what Mississippi is doing before we are completely drained of residents and businesses.
You’re naive if you think Landry is gonna come in and make any big changes. He’s just another puppet in the machine’s pockets.
The system is the system. It’ll be that way until the end of time.

Amazon has already invested in the area. I'm not sure this is Amazon though.

Good but rural hospitals are still closing.

Also, look up at Billboards.
Ain’t no serious business looking to (re)locate got time for that: one of the nation’s worst tort climates.
There’s a Gordon Penalty.

I hated when he won but he's done a decent job. Better than Phil Bryant.
