White Privilege Awareness Training Center (i.e. re-education Camp). The building would be perfect - no windows.

Just go to school at Clemson and you will be forced to take this class.

Laser tag is trashy as hell. Get the kids some Nerf guns and send them out in the yard or something.

I'd go. No guns. Melee only.

As a child, I used to love going to the Piccadillys at Bon Marche Mall. Nothing like watching the trays of discarded food being sent to the kitchen on a conveyor belt.

Those were the days. And I'm not joking.

THe mall needs to be redeveloped into a series of distribution centers.

If Airline was actually used or plans to be used like the true by-pass it was going to be when 10-110 came in the 60s(it was going to be i-410 and made into something like 110), this would be really good for the area.

That's a really good outside the box idea though. Would be perfect area for it, with some usable structures and infrastructure in place.

I rembember!!! Bon Marche Mall was the best place to be circa 81-82 as a kid. I can remember that popcorn smell from the theater all the way by McDonalds and the Pet Store at the other end(Wards)?

That seemed like technology at its finest back then. Of course the real entertainment was shooting straw wrappers from the booths to the serving line then ducking behind the little cut out so nobody could see you.

Once a mall loses anchors, there really isn't hope for redevelopment. I've seen some demolish the old indoor shopping centers and reopen as a "lifestyle" shopping like the one in Hammond.

But that's impossible for that location now. It's not an ideal retail location for anything but local services, like a Wal Mart, fast food restaurant, or gym.

I think the Picadilly at Cortana was massive. If I remember, they had two lines. The divider didn't start until after you passed the dessert and pudding section so that kids could see it.

Could be anything from raw materials(non chem/toxic) for area plants to off-site warehouse/dist center for paper products from area papermills

Also could be co-mingling facility(bulk items arrive there to be mixed with custom deliveries to area stores like Target/Sams/Walmart).

I have a strange feeling, most of those stores are going to have a very tough time being bought out. Unless it's a major business that just wanted to steal a location, it's gonna be tough for a business to survive over there
