He might be
But were you predicting 6-8 years ago that there would be a rising tide of health-focused, environmentally conscious, workout bros who shoot guns, don't like abortion, hate seed oils, hate large corporations, love small business, hate illegal immigration, like social safety nets and promote higher birth rates?
That this dude quickly became a "stereotype" of something few conceived of 5 years ago is...notable

Well said.

Something is mentally off about this guy.

More importantly, does the McDonald's worker get the $50k reward?

He sounds like an ordinary mid-20s guy who's on Reddit and terminally online. Posting about Jordan Peterson, AI and the Huberman podcast

Maybe so, but I'm also seeing (unconfirmed) tweets that he had back surgery due to an injury a few months ago. I wonder if he got denied and it sent him down a rabbit hole of radicalization?
Always possible...hell mostly likely. Self-interest will lead to swings in personality as needed.

A lot of his tweets are about mental illness, trying to analyze anxiety and depression

No, but fads come and go quite often.
Would you predict the people who used to call me anti-American for saying invading Iraq was stupid now pretend that their core beliefs include interventionism? Little temporary shifts like this happen, especially with economic instability (which started in 2009 and hasn't let up).
Society typically reverts back to its long-lasting segregations in time. Usually this is because when socio-political line blurring leads to more interaction among the various population segments and they find out they don't like to be around each other and this LARPing that they were similar was bullshite self deception to follow trends.
