REPORT: Luigi Mangione, who was named a person of interest in the execution of CEO Brian Thompson, was valedictorian of the Gilman School in 2016.
I have found footage of his valedictorian speech at the 119th Gilman School Founder's Day Ceremony.
Mangione is one of six children and said he intended to study AI at the University of Pennsylvania when he graduated.
The Gilman School is a $40,000-a-year all-boys school in Baltimore.
Mangione had shared a quote online from "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski before he was caught.
"Imagine a society that subjects people to conditions that make them terribly unhappy then gives them the drugs to take away their unhappiness," a Kaczynski quote liked by Mangione read.

This guy is not a left-wing loon; he’s a radical centrist who read stuff like Meditations, Atomic Habits, Sapiens, etc…things by Kurzweil and Tim Urban and Jonathan Haidt etc.
A lot of us on here probably fall into the same philosophical category as this guy, except we don’t come to the extreme conclusions he did.
Go look at his goodreads and x accounts. Full of stuff I like to read myself.

Well he just murdered someone, so I'd say yes, something is off.
I think he wanted there to be a manhunt to drive more and more attention to the situation and wanted to be caught eventually so he could have an extended platform. He just didn't want to be caught right away.
If he didn't want to be caught, he wouldn't have been holding all of that shite and he wouldn't be in the US. Had plenty of time to flee and clearly has resources as well.
