Yep.. Dont know why they ignore this part. They weren't forced to get a flu vax either even though they were at more risk from that than people under 30 are from covid.

What if someone would prefer to wait until J&J or Moderna is “approved” and doesn’t trust the specific Pfizer one?

Sorry.. you gotta get fisted with Pfizer.
We're not sure what taking 4 doses of Moderna and Pfizer will do but LSU's system President knows what's best for you.

This was known two weeks ago.
By Louisiana law a waiver has to be granted by the university if the student request it.

In order to attend classes you have to show LSU proof of vaccination or a negative covid test taken no longer than 5 days before you show up on campus. If you don't get vaccinated you have to get re-tested every month I think
Yeah, sooo uhhh, did neither. Just got back from class

Will this apply to the entire LSU system or just the LSU campus? What about research arms of the system that do not have students like the AgCenter?

as an example when the University of California made this announcement back in June/July it was for the entirety of university system.

You don't even need to go through the trouble of getting a letter from your doctor. Just fill out and submit the LSU vaccination waiver form: LINK

Nothing like changing the rules AFTER people have payed their tuition.
Chicken Shite! They will have the stadium and campus packed with all types of unvaccinated folks for the games.

I’d suggest y’all look forward to another mediocre/break-even fooseball season instead of focusing on the CRT Prez.

As someone else already stated, this isn’t news. Everyone knew LSU would require it once it got the FDA approval. It was just a matter of when the approval would come.

shall present satisfactory evidence of immunity
What evidence is satisfactory for this?
Seems like at least a positive test in past 90 days along with no symptoms has been a Wuhan standard to not have to follow contact protocols.
There are several semi-quantitative and quantitative assays out for awhile now (at least 1 labeled neutralization test with a EUA and a t-cell reaction test that is limited to certain labs as well), and it seems like it would a good idea to get between 15 & 21 days after positive test/ symptoms anyway to make sure you had a strong immunity response versus just relying on a positive viral test only. These really should also be able to push that past 90 days.
Regardless I would like to see comparisons at similar time frames on immunology response with previous infection only, after “fully” vaccinated with no prior infection, after “fully” vaccinated with a prior infection, and after breakthrough infections with and without prior infection. Levels but also how or even if the broader natural response changes with vaccinations and how the more specific response from current mRNA vaccines changes with delta infection.

Will Biden issue a vaccine mandate to illegals requiring proof of vaccination before busing them off to disappear in cities across the country?
