I’m surprised it’s survived, given that location. Texas Club was always interesting.

well at least one person plans to move to BR

Ha, I know. BR has problems. But the people I love most live there, and I miss them a great deal. Maybe it’s my Louisiana roots, my love for LSU, or the incredible memories & experiences I have, but I’m one of the rare people who want to come back home despite all the reasons I shouldn’t.

There's one on Highland next to The Varsity and one on Airline past Choctaw by some gas station.

Louie's moved down to the street to the old Wendy's building.

apparently they own the building, so no rent makes up for other issues

Attending an All Male Revue there back in the day made me realize I’m decidedly not into male strippers

An LSU nostalgia thread and 4 of the 5 places mentioned weren’t there yet when I attended school.

I am old.

Those were some good burgers.

The Blind Tiger across from Mike Andersons. I think its Caliente now. It had a steady rotation of stuff in the building. But The Blind Tiger was my go to senior year.

Sports illustrated. I know a lot of bars change owners and/or names. What did it become after that and what is it now?
