Geauxpurple, we could have been neighbors. 
I also used to spend some time in that sandwich shop with all the video games. I think it was next to Fred's but don't remember the name.

Louie's is still open. They just moved down the road to the old LSU Wendy's
That Wendy's was the worst run Wendy's I have ever seen. The Burger king right around the corner on Highland was just as bad
I would kill for an AM Mart sub right now though. Double meat half Cajun turkey half ham fully dressed might be the best thing I would eat when I was at LSU
