If it works like the others I have seen, screen shot will not work bc the barcode thing changes every X amount of minutes.
but they encourage to download them before arriving to campus?

Dammit.
I love my ticket books.
Same.
I have every one almost from every LSU game I’ve been to.
Oh well. If my last one is LSU’s 2019 national championship then so he it.

Please let the next Cajun Onstar video be in the ticket line at the first LSU home game with all digital tickets.

I guess we have now seen the extinction of the guys with ticket signs at the gates of campus.
They were out and about for the championship game even though those were all digital I believe. No idea what they were doing, but they were out.

The fix is to put the tickets in your wallet before the game.
The challenge will be those that sell them out at stadium - good luck.
My poor dad is going to be lost.

The LSU ones do not. I've been using electronic tickets for several years now, and I've emailed/texted/screenshotted bar codes to people sometimes several days ahead of the game, they always have worked

How is this new or more convenient?
It's a QR/barcode. What the frick does it matter if it's scanned on a phone or a piece of paper?
This. A I haven't had "contact" with a ticket taker in years. I hold my ticket, they scan it, I walk through. NOTHING is going to change.
Is this going to work for road games? SEC Champ Game? Bowl games?

The bicycle ticket mafia would appear to be done

The barcode/qr code changes every couple mins. Avoiding scalpers being able to screw people over. Whether it’s SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, or whatever you can transfer the tickets to someone using just email address or phone number. Most nfl stadiums use just electric now unless you have the original season ticket. If you buy a saints ticket from stub hub etc no paper copies are offered anymore

I always save my tickets, especially for road games and bowl games. I had all my tickets from last year matted and framed around the pic of Burrow and Coach O holding up the trophy. Guess that will be the last one of those.

fricking boomers, man.
I haven’t used a paper ticket for anything in years unless the place didn’t offer electronic tickets.
If you have a phone that is prone to dying before the day is over, bring a charger or a battery pack.

So if it changes every couple minutes, why do they tell you to download it in advance in case the cell reception is bad?

Seriously?
The QR code still updates after you’ve downloaded it.
Edit: that’s if it changes at all. The ones I had last year didn’t change within the month between downloading them and the game.

bar code didn't change on the tickets i had for baseball. Not sure what he's talking about.

I get the whole digital ticket thing and I’m cool with it. My dad has a fricking flip phone and refuses to advance. Also, the ticket books are kinda cool.

If you don't have a smartphone in 2020, odds are you aren't going to be able to figure this out

What if I don’t have a smart phone?
