Can't remember the last time I used a physical ticket. Welcome to modern society!

Are you really dumb enough to think there will be 100k in attendance to any LSU event.

I use my saints season tickets because it’s easier to pull that out walking into or out of the club than my phone because they say “club” in big gold letters (subtle brag) but other than that I use all mobile as well.

I did that for the Florida game and other events last year because of dying batteries, giving tickets to friends, etc. and everything worked fine.

Clearly you didn’t see the national championship in person

They've been doing digital tickets since like 2012ish. I forgot my ticket for a home game and was already on campus. I went to the ticket office and they said Sir we sent you digital tickets and I told them I forgot it on my printer....they just said to show the attendant my ticket from my cell phone.

AND that was the last time i printed a ticket.

This also means venues and event owners can target attendees with other offers and information about the event — like food, beverage or merchandise deals or venue-specific instructions.

You were in the massive minority then, I didn’t know a single person without a phone ticket for the game. There was a reason the paper tickets were in such demand after the actual game

I thought those were given out after the game happened?

I went with someone with connections to the athletic department, team. Seemed LSU had hard tickets for family and friends which is how I went. If I didn’t personally know the person I wouldn’t have believed the tickets were real. But yes I believe over 90% of the tickets were mobile.

Is a great collectors item I would never sell it.

Good news is that this year, will only be 10,000, so it will be a nice time to work out the kinks.

Why discontinue print at home? And I love that you now are required to use StubHub to resell tickets. What's LSU cut on that deal? How do I give my buddy an extra ticket at the tailgate minutes before the game?

Send it to his digital wallet?

I mean, some stadiums in the country are cashless concessions. Meanwhile, we have fans that still want to print tickets.

I hate this backwards place.

Oh I know. I went in 07 for the Ohio State game. Went to the Alabama game in 11 (unfortunately). I did get to go to Atlanta for the SEC Champ Game though. And had a huge party at the house for the NC.

Have you tried the ticket office? They sent me hard copies of every post season game once the season ended. Using a physical copy was never an option for me, everything was digital

Ticketholders who do not have a smartphone will be able to request alternative options through an online assistance form.

My 85 year old grandfather has had Tulane season tickets since the last time they played on campus. He does not have a smartphone. Tulane is doing the same thing. He called Tulane, they are sending him a paper ticket book.

I'm sure for the 85 year old season ticket holders at LSU, they will help the old guys out.
