202 this year
Now second to last in the SEC, only in front of Mississippi State.
Looks like William Tate left a dumpster fire behind. Hopefully Rousse can clean it up.

It drops a little more than a year after he leaves and it’s his fault?
Never mind the reason for his leaving was Landry maneuvering his cronies into the board of supervisors and increasingly influencing day to day operations?

I don’t know how these rankings are determined and I really don’t care. It seems like the more liberal the university becomes, the higher it is ranked on polls such as these. Academia loves its liberals. That said, Tate was trash and just about managed to sink LSU. Tate was kicked to the curb because he was turning LSU into ThugU. Talk to some people in the know and they’ll tell you the same thing I just did.

Because the US News rankings are important. It generates loads of publicity and many employers are aware of these rankings.
