Yep. All he does is pander and then disappear.
Does he pander? I haven’t even heard of him doing that. He’s simply nonexistent.
I think he ran for office as a joke not thinking he would win. Like a dog chasing a car. And now that he’s been elected he neither knows what to do nor wants to do it.

this map is always illuminating
LSU is right next to the most violent and crime ridden area south of Fla Blvd

My son decided on BAMA. Went to their first home game and my husband and I commented about how their game day experience was so much less trashy than LSU. He made the right decision

It has been the last couple years but what will happen is the fans and traditional tailgaters will stop attending not feeling safe and LSU starts to lose money. LSU or City police need to nip it in the bud, or like someone else mentioned, with random shootings happening more an innocent bystander is going to get hurt.
It was parents weekend for a lot of fraternities and sororities and this is the view of LSU they are getting.

Louisiana leges passes the Law that said it would make us safer from the bad guys that conceal with no permit. So, in typical LA good ole boy sense, the legislature allows one to
Carry without a concealed permit.
Result = law enforcement can't just randomly search suspicious looking people. It is not good for a state like LA with so many criminals and violent offenders.

Since you’re so knowledgeable on the subject, I’m sure you know it is a felony to carry a firearm onto university property. It’s also still a felony for a felon to possess a firearm.
Permitless concealed carry changed nothing for the shitheads who were carrying anyway, but made life easier for good people.

I get the same vibe. He did us a favor by removing Broome, but other than that I don’t think he even knows what to do next.

In the late 90's the campus was safe and the area surrounding the campus was generally safe (as least I thought so) as long as you didn't go to the northwest part off of campus. About four years ago, I visited the campus for the first time since I left school there in 1999 and it was depressing as frick. Maybe I was looking at it through rose-colored glasses back in the day, but now the campus just looked tired and run down, as if everything just needed a good power wash. The feel of the place was totally different, as I watched students walking around like robots with their heads down in their phones and ear buds in their ears. I'm surprised more are not hit by cars because they'll cross the street doing that and not pay attention to what in the hell is going on around them. It seems like the campus is surrounding by ghetto now and the ghetto has creeped onto campus.

Always a protest going on, I see it everywhere, everyday.

And these parents are now thinking about how to get their kid transferred somewhere else.
History has shown repeatedly when integration is forced at expense of merit, white flight ensues and decay of the host is inevitable.

It is in BR. And Louisiana.

4th Amendment violations tend to be frowned upon, regardless of legality of constitutional carry.

Sure you can but like you a lot of white people are too scared to say and do what’s right. If you are scared of the culture then how will you ever combat it

Can you imagine what its like for someone who attended LSU in late 60's early 70's?!

If this problem isn't corrected then LSU is going to experience "white flight" - from football to students enrolling at LSU.
Destroy LSU and Louisiana is DONE! I'm already on the verge of moving out.
