I bet you Mr Temple would not support closing down Southern now that LSU is adding a AA degree. We could use the money to replace Rouses money and the cost so a friggin AA department.
We should shut it down and SUNO and let any students there go to LSU if they see the admissions standard.
What is right about the state supporting a "BLACK" university in this day and age??
Lets close it and make things equal---you can all go to LSU if you can pass admissions and if not you can go to any of the other schools in the state/

I was told that Temple's group homes that he owns are deplorable. I know they have had a number of investigations and lawsuits concerning a few younger kids getting raped by older youth over the years and one of the group homes was so bad off that it caused neighbors to call the police 50+ times in one year about eight years ago. During one of the inspections, they were cited for not running proper criminal background checks on one of the employees.
Temple himself has had ehtics charges thrown at him. And the guy always seems to be in the right place at the right time for these big-money deals for contracts. Maybe LSU should re-examine their relationship with him. Is he really someone that they want on the Board of Supervisors? It seems he has had some issues with supervising things.

Temple resigned on a recent board he served on in order to take advantage of a lucrative deal to lease a rundown building he owned, and have it fixed up. He’s doing really well on that inside deal.

At this point my loyalty is with Rouses and not with LSU. Keep letting people like Temple call the shots there. Rape is okay but attending a political rally you disagree with is a bad look for the university. He’s a cancer and has been for a while.

The Temples suck. Rouse’s as a store isn’t much better, but I support Rouse’s.
