It isn’t that they can’t get in. It is the difference between in state and out of state tuition.

Why do so many Louisianians have this parochial attitude?

Because the endless posts crapping on Louisiana are tiresome.

Now the level of "don't give a frick," may be higher due to old money, but there are plenty of non-rich, non-legacy Harvard students that work hard to both get in and graduate.

CSB time:

The guy on the left is the older brother of a friend and is in one of my GroupMe groups. He's completely normal, smart, and pretty successful. A whole bunch of them dressed up for a game like this and this pic went viral, which he didn't know about until years later.

This is factually false. It's certainly in the cellar of sec schools.

Actually, quite true.

Entrance requirements are more stringent that UM, bama, MSU and Arky in the West. Don't care about the East with that redneck garbage in gainesville.

Number one Finance / Internal Audit Program
Largest Engineering Facility in the US

Just two examples - not that you care or believe.

I’m about to finish up my degree in accounting. I have a job lined up with one of the Big 4 accounting firms. What is the difference between an undergrad accounting degree from Florida and LSU? I have the job that most people desire in my field, without having to pay student loan debt. Feels good

Well LSU has a very good accounting program.
