Umm, you don’t get to decide that.

I absolutely valued my golden's life more than any human other than my mom.

Not sure why you feel the need to let everyone know you are an awful person.

Liking your dog and valuing its life over humans are two different things.

I love my dogs....but I value the life of most humans over them.

Given the choice of saving my dog or say a 3 year old child ....I would choose the child.

Everything that a Pitbull is good for - every other freaking dog does too.

This breed has killer instinct that snaps and doesn’t turn off.

Exactly. No reason to not discontinue the breed.

This isn’t true. There are more pits than labs.

It's one thing for a dog to attack an adult, but to attack a one year old. There's no way the dog felt threatened. Just plain vicious.

i used to stand up for them, but i'm done.

i have incredibly loyal and protective dogs (well, one of them--i think the other might just let me die and then eat my body, yet she is creepily obsessed with me alive too and would sooner show you her belly than bite you), but the breeds that comprise them have little history of that pit shite--shepherds, collies, maybe a touch of retriever, boxer, ridgeback, mtn cur, but maaaybe a distant pit-ish type creature in one of them. maybe.

It is the one that would eat my corpse who may have a little pit in her--you can see it in her face when she's begging for treats. But it's very little, and I would stake my life on the fact that she missed any crazy pit gene.

anyway, yeah, i'm over pitbulls. and i'm not sure where the "mix" is where the really bad is sufficiently diluted.

Agreed. Most other dogs aren't nearly as good at mauling toddlers.

Lol, pit owners talking about the lengths they go to to keep their dog away from other people and animals, yet still sit here delusional about how sweet they are.

I don't have to keep my pits away from anyone because they're not dangerous.

But keep believing everything you hear. Typical OT bullshite. Believe things with no first hand knowledge.

Good lesson to learn.

Bet that never happens again.

So, what does a pit offer that other dogs don’t?
