I love the Derby. It’s the pinnacle of horse racing and expensive sweet bourbon drinks.
People love to shite on Nola and Mardi Gras. I get it.
At least we have enough hotels for the fans. And we don’t have the meth heads driving fake Ubers.

I’ll chime in. Was in Lexington last week. For the amount of rich women around, there really weren’t very many attractive women.

The area around Churchill Downs is bad, but Louisville isn’t a bad town. There’s some really nice areas, and the food scene is good (not like N.O. but no place has restaurants like that).

I can find the good in damn near any decent size city I visit. Louisville is one of the few that makes me struggle.
