I would hope that these shitwads in office would use the funds responsibly, but I can fully guarantee that they will frick this up.

Let’s actually get a loop and then focus on the minor projects that, while are still important, are much less significant to the wellbeing of the state

I couldn’t give 2 shits less about a loop in BR.

Meanwhile this rusty POS is about to fall in the river.

Taxpayers are already paying the labor for this. It’s called prisoners. Probably my just need to call your parish president and complain and he will call the sheriff to put a crew on it.

Yep.

Government doesn't create anything. They don't sell a service. So if the government has a surplus it's because it took too much from the taxpayers.

Seems like a few states came out of COVID with surpluses. Texas has over $30 billion the legislature is dividing up right now.

I drove on airline highway in Prairieville last Friday and couldn’t believe how completely shitty the road was.

Louisiana’s fiscal budget is sitting on a surplus of over $1billion dollars.
We clearly should raise the gas tax and index same to inflation.

Or just give me my money back and I'll work on my own home lol. Why the frick should I have to pay for someone else's home?

Because a lot of people overspent to make sure they had 6000 sq ft with a butlers pantry and 2nd island. Only to find they have to pay the price for building in a flood plain and can't afford their bullshite.

Be a responsible adult and buy a better quality house.

I think we should fund a massive study to determine if a high speed rail around the whole state would be beneficial and feasible.

my brother-in-law just happens to be an engineer and can conduct the study for $90 million dollars. The study will take three years. Interested?

They had no issue with taking the funds for the new Jimmie Davis bridge to build that 220 extension to Barksdale. For a gate that's still being bid out.

The I20 revamp needs to happen ASAP. When ambulance drivers are complaining about patients being shook out of the stretcher it's time to do something.

That bridge handles 1/4 the traffic the Mississippi River bridge does.

Does it look like it’s in shite shape? Yes
Is it a major bridge for the state? Maybe
Should it be behind a MS river bridge loop in terms of funding priority? 100%
