From Covid. What are the chances we get in trouble at JBE press conference today?

Who cares? Nobody listens to him anymore

This virus is going to run its course unless we develop a true form of treatment or vaccine. I understand wanting to slow the spread, but that won’t happen unless we lockdown indefinitely, and that’s not sustainable.

You sure about that? They only posted 5 deaths last Monday. It's possible there aren't at least 7 "new" deaths announced today.

3000 deaths in a population of 4 million OH NOEZ!!!!!!
HOAX

And how many of those deaths legitimately came from Covid only?

Of the 3000, 3000 were going to die eventually anyway

I'm willing to burn down my local AutoZone if it helps the numbers to stop.

It’s spreading like wildfire in br right now. Me and my wife just got tested and about 10 people we know tested positive over the weekend. All are mildly ill. Nothing more than a bad sinus infection/cold. I feel like I got hit by a car my body is so sore.

Uh, that’s not going to stop the spread. But it will hopefully start a conversation. Which is what we need right now.

Probably won't see a large increase in numbers for another week. Those 100 cases in Tigerland all their family members and friends being tested.
I'm hoping LSU has a flexible schedule when classes start.
The warm temps are greatly keeping the symptoms in check and severity way down

I think he keeps us in Phase 2 at least through the July 4th weekend, probably until mid July before we get to Phase 3
That will be another spike similar to Memorial Day weekend

All the tests at lake after hours get results in 10-20 mins. That’s where I went. So they aren’t all delayed around here too much.

DOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!
This is what happens whenever you keep young, healthy people quarantined for three months, let them out, then actively seek out the virus via testing.
Symptoms and severity might be "in check" because the median age of those testing positive is way younger than those that were getting noticeably sick enough to be tested at the start of this.

Will not be allowing Phase 3 anytime soon.

From Covid
What percentage of those deaths were people living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc?
Covid-19 is deadly serious for seniors and those with compromised immune systems. For everyone else it is not that big of a deal (aka will not be severe enough to cause hospitalization or death), and for those in which it is a big deal remdesivir and now dexamethasone.

There is a decent chance of that since JBE has 0 knowledge about this virus and medicine in general.

Yeah I’m predicting another week or two of phase 2 added today and then re-evaluated. Sorry about that guys, Lafayette is frickin up.

This can't be serious. Guess you've outed yourself as one of the people hiding under the mattress these days.

Unless hospitalizations/deaths rise sharply, there's no reason to worry about a spread.
