I've filled that out on a few things they say are mine, I've never heard anything back from it.

I did this a few years ago in the state where I grew up. I found a joint savings account that I had with my ex wife at the credit union, value less than $100 (the minimum you had to keep to maintain the account). Contacting her over the account isn't worth $100.
But I found a life insurance policy on my grandfather (we share the same name) that was worth over $10k. My dad had to reopen the estate to collect, but it was well worth it.

I have like $500 on there but I'm too lazy to get the letter notarized
Same thing with my Dad. He has $200 on there but doesn't want to get the letter notarized.
FWIW, most banks have a free notary service if you have an account there. We have one at my work so it's seamless.

I just looked and it said I have over $100 bucks from cashiers checks. I filled out the form.
Any idea what they could be from? I don’t have a clue. It had an address I had there from 2010

It’s a pita to claim
Mine was easy. I sent an email, they sent a check for a hundred bucks. Took maybe 5 days to get it.

Over $100 / GROUP POLICY BENEFIT/CLM PMTS
Had money in Texas a few years back from my insurance collecting from an uninsured motorist that hit me. The money was my deductible. Don't know why State Farm didn't send it to me. In the end, I did get it from the state.

I haven’t done this in a while, the process is much easier than it was last time I checked. No claim forms, no notary needed, it’s all electronic.
$284 confirmed and on the way!
