I’d feel much safer in Montana vs NY, PA, CA (especially SF), IL. Try again lib.

Notice a trend with the 10 most unsafe states?

I'd guess the common thread is the federal government probably wants to drop the gun control hammer on them.

Correct. Only the "racist" red states are on that list....

You are definitely barking up the right tree. Now, keep going....

Bad roads, weak seat belt enforcement coupled w/low rate of usage compared to US average, and high amount of drunk driving. Decent amount of violent crime too which w/o looking into the deeper numbers I'm assuming is generally linked to alcohol abuse.

We were talking about Montana baw. Road related deaths contribute heavily to their place on the unsafe states list.

States like Louisiana and Texas a cop can pull you over for not wearing your seat beat. In Montana you have to commit another violation before they can ticket you for not wearing a belt. LINK

I guarantee you if you dig a Little Deeper there are a few variables in the study that have nothing to do with anything related to safety and everything to do with a particular political agenda.

I'll accept being number one, I just want the study to be valid.

Your average research study has so many biases added in through language most results are inconsequential.

New Orleans isn’t a problem though according to some people here. It must just be the rest of the state.

Are we going to pretend like New Orleans is the only violent part of the state? Baton Rouge and Shreveport are extremely violent as well. The entire state has a violence problem.

As long as the poors keep killing each other I honestly don't even see it as a problem.

But the movies. The movies.

While it gets more and more dangerous on the streets, we are bragging about our movie prowess. Talk about special interests.

Even the rural parts of the state are unsafe. People just bury their head in the sand and blame the cities.

The roads are straight and flat, it's the dumbarses who make the "roads" unsafe.

Outside of crime, southern states are quite safe.

I always love seeing these types of reports because it literally persuades woke people never to view moving here as the way to go. Thank. God.
