Louisiana Mudfest now considered a protest per owner/host.

The apparent host and property owner of the OTs favorite Louisiana Mudfest, released a video on Face Book last night in regards to their "Trucks Gone Wild" event held this weekend.
In the short video he noted several things:
-He has been in negotiations with the Governor's office, ATC, Fire Marshall, and LDH.
-He asked why; all other "RV parks" are open for business, and he has hundreds of acres for people to distance. Why is he being vilified to make a damn living?
-He mentioned that he offered to: cancel live music, enforce distancing at concession lines, clean restrooms after X amount of people, hand out masks, and deploy hand sanitizing stations across the park.
-Their official response to him was the event could not be held.
-He then mentioned that from now on "Louisiana Mudfest & Trucks Gone Wild is to be a peaceful protest of government control over businesses and people in general, enough's enough."
A followup post was then made on their Face Book page hours later.
This post mentioned "Louisiana Mudfest is open for business this week!"
In the meme it also says "read my lips: we are open"
Being a "peaceful protest" now, how will this go? JBE and others never go after them.
On a second thought, if they did attempt to shut this redneck party down, I would like a live video feed.
SIAP

THIS shite right here. The scary part of this whole thing is the government picking and choosing what businesses they "allow" to operate.
Yes, you can argue that there is always governmental regulatory control of business but not to this scale. This is pretty unprecedented.

That is also what gets me.
I went once a few years back. Would never go again.
I just hate that JBE and friends are PICKING AND CHOOSING who to go after and who they are not going after.

Wait until we get full Communism from the Democrats.
You're gonna get Portland/Chicago in a town near you.
Looters are allowed to have your property and will not be prosecuted.
You will be jailed if you stop them.
Everyone needs to wake the frick up.

If anything standing up to the 'man' is less trashy.
In my opinion.

It can not
But I like him being a smart arse about all of this and standing up against the government.
He knows they won't shut him down or even try. You would have to march armed forces in there to get that crowd to disperse.
Them baws are not going to have any of that.
Besides, they got much worse stuff going around over there than covid.

Exactly. From what I've seen, Covid is the least of your worries if you're attending that "festival".

Honor Chode is going to be mad for going against his own personal restrictions placed on the people of this state.
Good for that dude. This bullshite has gone on for far too long and its time to give Honor Chode and the rest just like him the big

I mean it goes against my all life is sacred and precious mantra. But trashy rednecks are my least favorite type of people so I'm a little torn on this one.
