The scary part of this whole thing is the government picking and choosing what businesses they "allow" to operate.

they aren't picking which ones as much as some govt workers who have a say are saying yes and some are saying no. This is why process never works. There's always the human element, especially in govt work. The lady at the DMV doesn't go to work to provide the nest service. She goes to work every day with one mission: Don't take any risk to losing my pension.
