Presumably it would be housed in an on campus habitat and the whole idea is to parade him around at university events, which means the university would be involved, who paid for the animal notwithstanding.
At any rate, no reputable individual or organization would provide a tiger for this dumbassery and it would most likely ruin our chance or ever getting another Tiger like the current Mike.
My representative is a literal halfwit, so I'm sure he'll be all in on this idea.

This site never cares to amaze me at how stupid the average poster is. Do you really think this is Landry's focus? That this topic takes away ANY real time from real issues? That an elected official can't have opinions on anything but current top issues?

Clearly it is, because he's talked about it more than once, and his minions are running with it now.
Does he really think this is important? He's stupid, but he's not that stupid. What he's doing is trying to distract the public from the fact that everything he's done so far in his tenure has landed with a thud. Hell, knowing the Louisiana electorate it will probably work. Some of the nimrods on this site certainly approve of it.

One of Landry’s major donors is pushing the idea behind the scenes. The fact this administration is still spending so much time and energy on this after LSU already shut down the idea is sad.
