Fiance is on her way to Alec from Baton Rouge. 190 is wide open and she's on 71 now. Hope the roads stay ok. I know she will come up on come ice closer to me.

Yesterday all the weather apps forecast high of 36 between 1 - 5 pm and the high at my house was 26 and snow flurries the entire morning until noon!
Weather forecast for this type of event are useless..

Looks like BR area might've gotten just enough sunlight and clear sky to get barely above freezing. Could make a huge difference later when the rain starts.

Yep. Sitting at 32 and will only get warmer. Went from 25 to 30 in about 1.5 hours earlier

if everyone ran their cars simultaneously with doors open/ heater full blast, can probably elevate temps another degree or two.

So today in BR first was forecasted upper 40s/50s then 40s and now forecasted high of 38 low of 33. Even if we dont get frozen rain etc. I am having a hard time believing its not gonna freeze over. Am I wrong?
