Probably right about the time you tell her that you won't be driving into Baton Rouge because of the weather.

Just do shrimp poboys at the Gator Corner, treat yourselves, they deserve it.
Then go push in the Casino after a nice meal.

Low of mid 20s in NOLA, while there is a 6 spot on Lafayette.
Does Lake P really make that much of a difference?

Did you really need to post 3 pictures of the outside temp on another monitor?
Posted on 2/13/21 at 12:50 am to Ed Osteen
Sometimes the temps are different and I can't figure out why, so using the posts in this thread to log/track.
They all pull from the same site, even refreshing doesn't sync temps up sometimes, it kills me.

Then fricking look in the gallery on your phone. Nobody here gives a shite about you or your stupid dog. The shtick is old. If you want attention that bad, make your own thread.
People like you are the reason this site sucks sometimes. You have such a boring meaningless life that you create a persona on here and disrupt any type of meaningful and normal conversation we have.
If you really want to post your pics that much, post it on FB to your 7 friends.
Edit: Solve your problem by buying a cheap thermometer, put it on your porch, voila you don't have to rely on technology to tell you what you would know by stepping off this site and walking outside in the real world.

Absolutely. There's a reason the NOLA stations give temps north and south of the lake. North wind blows over the much warmer water and picks up heat and some extra water vapor. Will help keep the south shore ice free too, which is the other thing happening. The GFS has a cold bias with ice or snow on the ground. It's thinking Laffy would have some and NOLA won't.
That's the reason for the temperature difference.
ETA: y'all some hostile motherfrickers tonight.

The Euro didn't change much from this afternoon, but for probably less ice for BR. What did stick out was the snowfall for north Louisiana. The Boat gets a foot in Monroe by the end of the week. Shreveport? 17".
The GFS also has 17" for Shreveport and 20"+ in parts of northern Caddo. Less snow for NE Lousiana.
The entire state of Texas is going to be joining you in that. Most of Arkansas too I suspect.

I've been seeing these huge numbers on the last several runs and keep thinking there's no way and it'll moderate but GFS is holding steady. But...no way right?
any time were talking snow I usually figure you can knock something off what a model run shows but even that would still be a huge snow event.

Seriously it's hard to predict amounts. I pay serious attention to nws out here in AK and I can tell you they almost always overcast snow where I'm at
2-4" overnight...nah try maybe an inch.
4-8"...maybe 2 inches.

Holy hell, got me interested in record snowfall amounts for LA cities at 330AM
17" is a lot, not just relative to the South?
