Nymeria and I just made some rounds outside while she made potty.
This is an on the ground update from Thibodaux.
Wet and "slightly" colder. Will be back here for updates during her next potty.

Any chance the gas lines will get compromised?
This for sure. Someone please answer.
... Are you people so removed from any semblance of manliness that you believe single digit temperatures are uncharted territory beyond the realms of human experience?
It's a fricking fuel line. If it wasn't already dry rotted, it won't matter if it's zero or 130 degrees.
As for small engines... Most of you are running Briggs and Stratton home gen sets. Provided you have the specced 0w30 or 5w30 in them you'll be fine. As a matter of fact, anything up to a 15w would likely do just fine. I run mobil1 0w40 in almost everything. Good in the heat. Good in the cold.
Those running diesel powered generators... Gelling could be w concern. Go buy some HEAT and dump in your fuel and run it if you're worried.

Jesus Christ. I had hoped you were finally arrested for your crimes against nature or your long assed old lady had murdered you.

Will I be able to fly out Monday or will there be too much ice?
Oh wait this isn’t a hurricane thread. Carry on!

I don't litter, catch and release redfish and take good care of my pup. No crimes concerning flora and fauna here.
Thanks for your kind words.

Tbh it really will be for Monday commuting here. Hwy90/Thibodaux/Houma/Morgan City
The damn sunshine bridge ices, that will most likely be shut down.
A lot of the bridges are over water and ice, a ton of routes will be shutdown Monday morning.

Will this affect the baseball home opener?

Your magnanimous response changes nothing Tulane.
I see you.
34 in iberville. A pint of Guinness under the carport. Bring this weather on.

This state is mostly river, lake, bayou, canal, creek, ditch, etc., all of which have to be crossed by bridges.
The tiniest bit of ice shuts everything down for hours. Imagine 1/4", 1/2", or more EVERYWHERE.
Icepocalypse 2021 (frick your virus, 2020).

Wife and I are eating at Ruth’s in BR on Sunday... coming from Belle River/Pierre Part... when can I expect this ice?
Posted on 2/12/21 at 11:47 pm to CaptainJ47
Sunshine will most likely be frozen by then, unless they are preparing with salt/dirt like the big freeze a few years ago.
Better just call it a night at the Gator Stop.
