Ah yes like the normal flu season that happens in July. Moron.
Yes. Summer colds are a real thing.
A summer cold can be worse than the Flu. They are brutal

And what is the death rate ? Also what was the daily death rate for Louisiana during July 2018 ?

I haven't had a cold since 2019. My wife had covid and it wasn't as bad as any cold I ever had. Nobody else in my house got it.
Just when I think we've reached peak lunacy, we start climbing even higher.

what I don't understand is how is this thing so prevalent in 106 degree heat index weather?
So let me tell you about this thing called air conditioning.

Wrong. there was never any progress outside of vaccines.
We warned you people about this a year and 4 months ago.

where's the chart for death / hospitalizations
many Louisianians consider getting a test a summer vacation so they're doing it for "fun"

Had to learn this the hard way as a dumb arse kid coming into the house from swimming all day with wet clothes and with ceiling fans and cold a/c blowing indoors. Practically gave myself pneumonia being a moron and falling asleep with damp swim suit.

The messengers and tactics used for the vaccine are pathetic. I’m pro vaccine but damn the fear mongering has a role in the low rates. The earned media mistrust has hampered progress and deepened the resolution of some against

Summer colds with spikes in April, July, August, November, December, January, and February?
You people are fricking stupid.

I’ve come to the conclusion that there is no peak, and the passive majority of this country will sit passively by until we’re not “this country” anymore, if we aren’t there already. I have to include myself in that number.

Per 100k tested? Per 100k of state population?
I'd speculate that before vaccines were available, there was a lot more precautionary testing (and thus higher rate of negative tests).

1 year, 4 months, 2 weeks and 1 day of two weeks to flatten the curve

Lockdowns absolutely shouldn’t happen, but does it not bother you guys that you’ll be paying for this in taxes as Medicaid reimbursements soar for the hospital care?
A huge chunk of people under 65 in Louisiana are on Medicaid.
In my opinion, Medicaid recipients who are unvaccinated should have to pay some sort of “covid coinsurance” or “covid copay” for the care their irresponsibility led to.
Why does it not bother this board about the Medicaid costs covid will bring?
Have they been charging this fee for people who weren't getting the regular flu vaccine each year?

seasonal like the flu. Cases will drop again and go back up again. just like the flu.

Hmmm......those two weeks just so happen to coincide when bus loads of illegal Haitians were dumped at bus stops in the middle of the night?
