48.50% of the state has been tested with 7.27% of those tests being positive.

Crazy to have the politicians cripple their economic engines over a tiny number.

WTF allows this madness to continue!!!

So how many days straight below 5% positive rate did JBE day we needed?

The "threshold" 3% now.

You just continue to wear your mask. The Governor/mayor will give you permission to live a free life. Until then. Stop asking

Total cases by collection date on or after 9/11/2020 - 5,209, plus hospitalizations equals 5,779. The number I posted yesterday using the same methodology was 5,852. There are 73 fewer active cases today than yesterday, a decrease of 1.25%.

God damn these people constantly shifting definitions and goal posts. This is what you get when blood sucking injury lawyers are given power

What a fricking world where 6 months ago all we were concerned about was flattening the curve and not overwhelming hospitals. Now we have to have a positivity rate below 3% all of a sudden?

frick these corrupt, slimy shite bag mother frickers. I've said it a billion times I'll fricking say it again. This charade should have ended months ago.

EBR just posted a 1.43% positive rate. Going to laugh when that keeps happening and we reach their stupid 3% threshold with no problem at all.

We can get to below 3%, especially if they use some common sense and break it out by region.
The 5 cases per 100k is what seems impossible to me

Yeah.

For context that would mean roughly only 22 positive tests per day in EBR.

They had 24 today with a 1.43% positivity rate.

So even a rate that low still wouldn't quality EBR, and thats just 1 day and probably one of the better days they'll post for awhile.

Those metrics are completely unacceptable.

All this for a virus with a dramatically low mortality rate.

You really aren’t supposed to use positivity rate AND total cases as both are inversely effected by how much testing you do

There is just simply no way this many people per day are dying from Covid. And its funny how there is a positive hospital number offset in 2 days every week.

That’s exactly why they’re using it.

At what point does Trump start telling people to stop getting tested like Obama did with H1N1.
