I'm still having to work remotely but the nursing home where I consult is testing employees each week x 3 weeks from what I'm told. State is "in charge" of it -- not exactly sure what that means and I didn't ask as for now, it doesn't affect me.
SO I assume that other homes are doing the same?? Also, tests are having to be done on people prior to surgery, outpatient tests (scopes, etc), and the like. So I assume that some positives are coming from there.

Nursing homes should be tested more. That’s where the vulnerable people are. As for damn near everyone else in society, everything should be opened up and everything should be back to normal. We should have never shut down.

Well...considering this disease seems to behave pretty much the same everywhere, regardless of mitigation efforts, there really was no way for Louisiana to frick up this side of things.
