Not a peep from Destroya when it was said last week they would be announcing a move to Phase 2 this week.

Nothing.

The protests have brought on the herd immunity. Time to end this farce and get back to normal.

No more social distancing and no more masks!!

She is trying to find a way to avoid doing it without having to blame or even mention the protest.

I haven't kept up with NOLA in general ... how are cases there? Vermilion has 61 total as of today but on 5/18 there were 44, SO technically I'll go with 17 "active".

The regulations just need to end

If hospitals & nursing homes feel the need they can hire more staff to sanitize but at this point they are doing more damage to mental health

I think they are just saying nothing. No one is questioning her, the media has moved on to the next story.

So she can kind of do whatever she wants. What is anyone going to do about it?

I would assume they are dumping test results or part of those are from Monday.

Either is just as likely.

I get his anger.
We should already be moved on.
There should be spectators at sports.
No regulations.
This is so dumb

New Orleans could have went to Phase 1 in late April and should have been in Phase 2 last month

Last Tuesday had 7.0% of tests show up positive

Today, only 5.1%

Also, 21 less deaths than last tuesday

Positive rate at 5% based on big increase in tests, so still very good. Add in yesterday’s unusually low number and the positive rate is exactly where the month of June has averaged.

Damn citizens apparently didn’t do squat for Memorial Day. Not enough of them are dying now.

We can’t do anything right.

4th of July + 14 days = July 18th. Don’t let your governor down!

Then they’ll be stacking bodies like a Wuhan wet market.
