Amos that’s amazing. I’m told that the corporate RD is setting up telemedicine for us — doesn’t sound like I’ll be back in there any time soon.
Also told the ADON (who I work closest with) that I’m only using that if I really have to or if they really need something. Can you imagine me having to get a nurse who is already busy to do telemed with 50 residents?? (Not all in one day but still)

Are these actual CoviD hospitalizations or are the "chickens finally coming home to roost" as it relates to people putting off various levels of care for 3 months?
Also, Fauci isn't exactly trustworthy at this point.

Arizona is having no Covid spike at all. There covid hospitalizations are continuing to fall.

Cases have been going up pretty quickly in Knoxville... faster than during the shutdown, but testing has also been going up a lot.
And hospitalization are currently at 6, for a county with 470,000 or so people.

I do like their dashboard, though. Everything is date corrected. (Well, deaths and hospitalizations are, not sure about total cases.)
Edit to add: I do see that they are one of the states that are reporting antibody tests in their totals. No bueno.

I can only imagine... it’s hard enough assisting residents with telemed appointments with PCPs with a full nursing team.

If you read an article that mentions a spike in cases but no mention at all of hospitalizations then its just fear mongering bullshite

One of the news stations here makes a post everyday that ONLY states number of new cases. People have finally started to see through it and get pissed. Most comments ask for them to also report # of tests, positivity rate and hospitalizations
