LDH Twitter

Since yesterday, 17,341 new tests have been reported to the state. The majority of these tests were collected between June 19 and June 26. That brings the total number of tests to 678,006.

92% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread.

Stahp. Still at 1/3 of where we were at max and still near all time vent low

Edited to add that I am not concerned nor do I think we should be locking down further. Still think the state is in great shape, and if you look at my post history I been one of the ones saying there is no need for panic.... just would be nice to see those hospitalizations trending the other way.

Actually what I would REALLY like is a more specific description of what a hospitilization is. I feel like this can be anything from people going to the ER with symptoms and getting triaged to someone in the ICU in which case this stat could be a HUGE nothing burger

So if a person tests positive…and then a week later they take another test and test positive again….I assume that counts as 2 positive cases and not just 1?

Bars being in phase 2 was a bad decision by someone nationally. Texas and Florida had to pull back on bars today.

Of course if you are in the open everything crew, then you will disagree.

I am talking about in terms of what they felt were relative risks.
