Tuesdays are always big spikes after low weekend numbers as the state gets their shite in order

77 deaths is tragic.
Otherwise, these numbers continue to show that our policies are working and we are on the downslope.
I think we have to open it back up, at least to smaller crowds. If the numbers spike back up, then we may to shut it down again. But we won't know until we try.

Why increase in Hospitalizations?

Tuesday deaths are usually higher because most coroners close on the weekend, so the deaths that would have been in Sunday or Monday reports get added on Tuesday.

All good except for the deaths.
2 more since midnight last night so we're at 4 total. 4 or 5 still in hospital and a shite load of positive cases.

My personal thought is that there is now space .. and they're being paid xxx amount for covids and losing their arse elsewhere. PERHAPS they're admitting some more for "observation"?? A few weeks ago this wouldn't have happened but I think it's more plausible now??

Not validated, but the belief is now that we are no longer at risk of running out of resources, hospitals are admitting people they would have originally sent home to self-quarantine.
