Jefferson Parish is a day behind Orleans and they think they’re opening up in 2 weeks? Lol

Jefferson Parish is far superior to Orleans so it makes sense.

Everything looks good except deaths. Looks like the curve is finally flattening, but not yet reversing, for new cases. Deaths seems to just be peaking. Positive tests/tests administered flattening. Vents and Hospitalizations reversing trend.

I think we move into phases by LDH region, IMO.

Parish by parish is too much to coordinate and the whole state acting as a monolithic block causes too much damage to the unaffected regions. LDH region as the unit of response would probably be the wise and rational way to do it.

This, of course, means that Louisiana will do anything but that.

Vermilion. They believe that the sky is falling. Seriously. I htink that we have 28 cases BUT I'd be curious to know by date when the positive test was taken. Many I'd suspect are clear.

The one death that was reported==I saw a comment about this person having kidney issues/transplant prior to covid starting SO was it really a covid death???

Geez ! 28 cases in an entire Parish and those idiots want to cut off their nose to spite their face. I shouldn't be surprised though, the population in VRM Parish is pretty dumb as a whole.

These numbers are pretty much useless. Trying to extrapolate anything from them is useless.

I really do with Jindal was in charge of the data. I believe we would have so much actual usable data we wouldn't know what to do with it.

As it stands we just get a daily dose of numbers that have no consistency or supporting info.

and I don't for a second buy this number either. You know damn well they're counting any death as a death due to this to pad the stats. Take a look at NY the other day, counted almost 3800 deaths w/o testing them for the actual virus.

Numbers look very good. Of course we will continue to have cases. Cases with decreased hospitalized just means we are now testing more of the minor cases. Less hospitalized and vents are great.

Yep. I'd love to move but can't move the farm so ...

Question about the LDH chart for deaths for anyone that can answer: The number of deaths per day is NOT the same as what is being given (I printed the chart from the OP and fill it in each day). Did they finally go back and correct it or why is it off??

That helps, but still isn't a clear picture. The governor has admitted some death come from 10 days or more out.

I hope the data they are working off attributes the death to the day it occured.

Those 3800 deaths haven't been added to NY's total on the various tracker websites FYI.

Question:
Does the new deaths number come out of the current hospitalization/vent number? Or, do those numbers only account for unresolved cases?
