If I’ve learned anything from this website, it’s that you can’t post racist comments on the internet.

They are very low paying jobs with high turnover. They are training warm bodies at this point.

Many of our State Troopers have criminal justice or similar degrees and make an honest rate. You rarely hear of them misbehaving.

We don't want to pay our cops worth a damn, and at least half our country doesn't show them any respect. And we wonder why we can't get good, educated people to serve.

We know a guy who recently discharged out of the Navy as an MP (or whatever they are called in the Navy). Super nice guy. He is starting with our local sheriff's office and a deputy. But he seems to be the exception. Most of the people they hire tend to be low-intelligence, low-education individuals.

Many troopers are doing higher level things. And they are held to a higher standard and get paid better.

Maybe it would be more important to look back at all the multicultural societies that worked out and use their examples. Oh, they killed off the other races... well you know maybe it will be different this time

America is an almost 250 year old experiment. The melting pot has made it a lot further than anyone probably thought it would.

The melting pot was almost wholly of European people until 1965 when they changed immigration. Until that point the United States was close to 90% white. It has been decreasing dramatically since then.

A lot of police departments need to look long and hard at each of their officers and truly ask themselves if they're someone they want representing them.

The problem is that in many cases, the ones making those decisions have the same exact opinions and personalities. They hire like-minded employees.

People aren’t ready nor do they have the money to pay for a truly professional police force. You pay peanuts you get what you can afford.
