Louisiana morons keep voting for these incumbents. The politicians in this state are so grimy and/or incompetent that I NEVER vote for an incumbent unless they have done some stellar shite, and that is rare. This state is a joke and the second I retire I'm out of here and back to Texas.

These types of people dont' go to catholic school in BR, and if they do, they are the overwhelming minority, at least at our school.
Our entire 8 year old baseball team caught some little bug about 3 weeks ago after a team gettogether. kids running high fever feeling bad for a day, then better about 36 hours later. Not a single person went get tested, and the first one that got sick has a doctor for mom. Simply waited for the fever to go away and sent the kid back to school. No questions about it. Was it Covid? who gives a shite.
no one at our school is going test their kid for Covid anymore. When we had a few kids testing positive in January and they were forcing healthy kids to miss basketball games b/c of close contact, we finally said frick it and we just sent the kids to the games anyway and forced them to take them off the court, and to no ones surprise, no one forced the completely healthy kids to miss their games. fast forward a few weeks later and we get an email saying all covid protocols are gone. The vast majority have learned their lesson and we aren't going to deprive our children of their childhood anymore, so we simply aren't going to pretend Covid is a scary thing anymore.

Exactly…there is no Covid vaccine….there is a somewhat effective Covid symptom reducer, but a symptom reducer, by definition, isn’t a vaccine.

No it won't, and i'd put money on the fact that even if they do go report a kid as being covid positive, nothing ig going to be done about it. At no point will any healthy kid be sent home next year b/c someone else has covid.
