At least in BR y’all will all be doing this in the private schools.
no we won't.
They literally haven't mentioned Covid in like 3 months, since they came out and said there are no more covid protocols anymore and everything is back to the way it was pre covid.

My daughter goes to private in BR and they didn't require masks all 21/22 school year.

thanks to two Republicans on the Senate Health and Welfare Committee who wouldn’t take a position on it.
I almost respect the loo ey progressive Democrats more than meek little pussies like this. At least they stand on what they believe in regardless of how insane it is. Even if they know they're dead wrong, at least they take a position.

Just so everyone knows, these are the 2 worthless Senators that failed to even show up and vote, one of which was the fricking committee chair.
Piece of shite Senator Pope, Represents Denham and his long list of accomplishments in the Senate is to "Formally congratulate" 2 LSU players making into the Louisiana sports hall of fame and to formally congratulate a beauty queen winner...I shite you not
Piece of shite Senator Mills, and Committee chair, represents New Iberia and has a vested interest in seeing his Pharmacy get as much business as possible

Corrupt.
You know that fat budget surplus you keep hearing about?
A lot of it is Covid coins.
There's still a lot of Covid money to be had.

All because David Vitter got caught with a hooker.

I’m born and raised in Louisiana…45 years old…never lived anywhere else. I love my state, have defended my state, and it will always be home. But Louisiana has become a joke. We’ve known it was always corrupt, but now I’m done. I’ll be moving out this summer.

No sports or any activities of any kind for unvaccinated kids.
Not saying whether this is correct or not, but can you link me where the requirement states this? I have no plans on getting my high schooler vaccinated, but he does play HS sports and I need to know what to be ready for. We haven’t heard the first peep of this out of the school or the parish.

Everyone on this board who lives in this shithole needs to email their elected officials now.
Would rather sky scream about federal or California politics that doesn’t affect them. Easier to just punt

The key is if the school REQUIRES Covid vaccine info or an Opt Out form. If they do this and you provide it then your kid will be sent if there are 2 current cases in the school.

but i'm 100% sure our catholic school isn't following that.
You’re right. They aren’t enforcing yet.
It will be interesting to see how it is enforced now that the opposition was killed.
