The spread likely started from Mardi Gras

Hmm. I did pick up a gnarly cough that lasted two weeks.

Been hacking all over town.

I think that most people are arguing that if it spread all over the country, it wouldn't be catastrophic. More-so than the flu that is, which spreads across the entire country every year.

Why not just buy them a house close by? That’s what we did with my 94 year old grandmother

That's not a nursing home. It is very expensive and many wealthy people move in there.

Because they have more social contacts and activities organized for them.

How did these three old people in an uppity nursing home in N.O. get in contact with this already?

Maybe a young person that was just exposed to the virus went to visit a family member or friend, at the end of the day the 20 something person will be fine but not so much for grandma or grandpa. We’ve already witnessed what happened in Washington, God forbid that happens in nursing homes across the country.

$50k a year to play checkers.

To each their own, seems like a waste of money.

The men at Lambeth House really like the young female workers as they like the 24/7 views. Reminds them of Hooters.

Had occasion to be involved in something pre K I think. Was told condo fees were 2K+ at the time, per month. This won't end well, they have medical in house I think.

This is not a prison or lock down wing at the va hospital.

You have independent living where you pay for a residence and pick how many amenities you want such as food service ,cleaning etc...

As your health changes you can smoothly move. From independent living into dependent (just a room instead of apartment)

They drive in and out and live freely....
Sure many were out and about at major functions this season.

Won't be able to see my father in the nursing home in his room starting tomorrow at 9 AM. I will only be able to see him in a specified area that he is brought to from his room.

$275,000.00 the lowest end. Some of those rooms go for a million. They have high faultin’ meals like a restaurant. This is not a place for the poor

Yep. If everyone was able to be tested, the numbers would be astronomical.
