Probably true for the Denver metro area, but Colorado Springs is still a pretty conservative military city.

Drove Monroe to Omaha and back 4 days later and swore that 10 hours was my limit. Something about the 11th and 12th hour was terrible.
Have gone to southern Illinois a few times (9.5) and it’s a breeze but Omaha was not.

We just returned from an 11 day, 2900 mile trip from Shreveport to Philadelphia to visit friends, then down to Greensboro, NC to visit in-laws. Stopped in Bristol, VA on the way up and stayed in Hoover, AL last night on the way back.

What’s your furthest and longest road trip?

Drove our motorhome and 20 foot duck boat from SE Washington to South Carolina 3 years ago and got on a plane and flew from Atlanta back to Seattle and drove my truck and 24 foot enclosed decoy trailer the same route 4 days after getting the motorhome squared away. Did about 2700 miles in the motorhome in less than 60 hours...never got out of it except to pump gas. Drove 8-10 hours, took a shower in a walmart parking lot or rest area, fall into bed and sleep 4-6 hours and get up and do it again. Had to stay in motels on the second trip, did it in 4 days. Pretty tough couple of weeks. About 5500 miles of driving over a 2-week period. Had my then 80 year old father on the motorhome trip so that was interesting LOL.

I have driven the motorhome from New Mexico to South Carolina and back again several times and from New Mexico to Washington State once...all pretty long trips.
