The ZeroCovidCommunity is a place where people who are passionate about reducing the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 / Covid-19 and protecting those who are at high risk can come together with a shared vision for the future. We are here to discuss the coronavirus pandemic, share info, and support one another. Individual mitigations can be a forced response to a lack of systemic solutions, but it is the latter that should be the main subject of activism. Engineering is better than hate.

I'll save them the discussion. If they are still terrified of covid that's fine. Stay home masked up 24/7, fantasizing about some dystopian future where society is forced to walk around in hazmat suits. The rest of us will go along interacting with other human beings and functioning in society.

Several people on that sub don’t go out without a respirator. I don’t know how you can “live” a life like that. I would rather eat a bullet than be that weak.

Imagine being so effete and risk averse, so terrified of living and of dying, that you would desperately cling to the idea that your psychologically aberrant need to coerce, shame and punish your fellow Americans is somehow virtuous. These people with their appeals to authority and endless trust in bureaucracies and The State are a true threat to individual liberty and should be confronted at every opportunity.

I've been here a few years and have seen quite a few things. Never posted a whole lot. However, this is something to keep your eye on.

I don't think that the people on that sub do even half of the nutty things that they claim to do. Seriously, other than the pro-Palestinian protestors on TV, have you seen anybody in the last 12 months who was even wearing a mask, let alone a respirator?

I think the people on that sub are posting what they wish they could do. But that doesn't mean they're actually doing it. They realize that other people would think they're huge weirdos if they did even half of what they said they were doing.

They are like people who went into a fallout shelter and refuse to believe the bombs didn't drop and people are living normal lives on the surface despite evidence.

And they are all sharing this doomsday information to try and scare each other into continuing the charade
